Members of the Quapaw Nation will display their artwork and speak of their culture and history. There will be a stick-ball demonstration as well. This is an opportunity for students of the Trail of Tears, or families exploring their own heritage, to speak with people holding a unique view of history.

This family event will feature live music, cups of ice cream given to the guests and games such as musical chairs, a cake walk, hoops, a turkey shoot game and a stick horse race. Music by John Spain, Herschel Parker, Reggie Moore's gospel group and Mike Ferguson.

My City Is A Fort – Fort Building Contest

Kids ages 5-12 will use their imaginations to build forts out of boxes for a chance to win prizes.

The competition will be split into two age groups: 5-9 and 10-12 and up to four kids in each group.
There will be 20-30 teams. Prizes will be award to the top two winning teams in each age group

FREE hot dogs, popcorn and bottled water courtesy of Bancorp South and Chaffee Crossing Historic Preservation Organization.
