Kids ages 5-12 will use their imaginations to build forts out of boxes for a chance to win prizes.
The competition will be split into two age groups: 5-9 and 10-12 and up to four kids in each group.
There will be 20-30 teams. Prizes will be award to the top two winning teams in each age group

Trout Fishing in America will perform a special concert in honor of the city’s 200th birthday. Only 500 tickets will be available for the concert and it is expected to sell out quickly. Tickets for $5 per person can be purchased on Eventbrite. Admission for children ages two and under is free.Find out more »

Belle Starr By Herself by Ray Coleman (off-season production) Directed by Jim Moody Synopsis: In this official Fort Smith Bicentennial Event, Cindy Clark performs a one-woman show presenting a unique interpretation of Belle Starr. Was this infamous local resident of the late 1800s a cruel criminal as the media depicted, or a self-determined woman who made less than respectable choices to survive? Using glass bottles, foils, paint and other materials, a 24' x 24' wagon wheel will be created as a tribute to Fort Smith's history of homesteading and wagon building, as well as our general pioneering spirit that exists in the city today. Once complete, this will be a popular selfie stop.Find out more »
